Research interest 

I am broadly interested in nutrients and water cycling at community and ecosystem scale by using stable isotopes.  Most of my researches are located in wetland and semi-arid ecosystems and particularly in soils where most biogeochemical cycles are actively occurring.  My current research interests lie in: 1) land use and vegetation alter C, N and P cycling which would affect Yangtze River water quality in three-Gorge reservoir watershed; 2) warming and clipping affect ecosystem hydrological processes and its coupling with carbon cycling
